Saint Louis had been gloomy and rainy for two weeks, so when the sun emerged and temps crept nearer to 60, the girls dressed in their cheeriest wools to attend their monthly meeting of the Central West End creatives. The CWECs are a group of gals who get together to support and encourage each other's creative endeavors, and this meeting was scheduled for happy hour at Sub Zero. The star of the evening was Suzanne, a hip and happening chick who wrote a book for children inspired by wild and whimsical stories of her own grandmother. Suzanne's a photographer by trade, and the pictures she styled for the book were utterly charming and lovely, and featured her two adorable children as models. The club "oohed" and "aaahed" over their sushi and Prairie Fires and wished Suzanne the best of luck with her endeavor. They are sure she's destined for great things.
